HEARTSTART offers free life support training for people in the Salford area. They have two courses coming up in the near future:-

Thursday 17th June. 7pm - 9pm. Salford Fire Station, Liverpool Street, Salford. M5 4LE.

Thursday 24th June. 7pm - 9pm. Agecroft Fire Station, Bolton Road, Pendlebury. M27 8XS.

The courses are delivered by experienced Firefighters. They are delivered in a fun yet educational way, they last about 2 hours and cover how to recognise and treat:

Cardiac arrest

Heart Attack

Unconscious Casualty

Choking

Severe Bleeding
